20 Feb Tiger Woods not out of the woods
Champion golfer Tiger Woods has resumed his comeback but is having a rocky return. Having missed the cut at his second comeback tournament and then retired hurt at the third, huge doubts remain about his quest to be a top 10 player once again. At 41, he carries the physical scars of 3 back operations and a knee reconstruction-at least. In a game where endurance and precision are required, his body is so far failing to cope. Nobody will doubt his determination, effort and pride but even the great Tiger must now be having self doubt. Doubt in his ability to match the new crop and doubt in his body. Golf is a game where you need unyielding self belief and a clear head. But Tiger has to be careful getting in or out of bunkers and needs warm conditions to keep loose!
