Along the journey, Steve worked at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, the World Police Games in Melbourne, multiple Melbourne Marathons, World Badminton Championships in Melbourne and Australia A Cricket team in 1998.
Steve worked for Richmond Football Club 1979-1983 and was fortunate to be involved in their Premiership of 1980.He then worked for the Victorian Bushrangers Cricket team 1994-2002 who were victorious in 2 One day Competitions and Runners up twice in the Seffield Shield.
Since then, Steve has assisted Malvern City Football Club to a Premiership in 2010 and Eastern Lions FC in 2011.On the cricket side he has worked with Richmond, Camberwell, Oakleigh, Burwood, Glen Iris and Ajax Cricket Clubs [Life Member] since 1982.One of Steve’s longest commitments [33 years] has been to Syndal/Tally Ho, now called Chadstone Football Club where he is a Life Member.
Steve has been a lecturer on Sports Injuries at Lincoln Institute and been a co Author in 2 Sports Injury publications plus published an article on “Medial ligament of the knee Rehabilitation using isokinetic exercise” for the JOSPT in 1983 with Professor John Hart, Orthopaedic surgeon.
Steve completed the Titleist Performance Institute [TPI] Level 1 Course in Brisbane in 2016. This entitles Steve to the support of TPI and allows him to provide their 16-point assessment of the body swing connection in golf.
In his spare time, Steve spends time with his family, walks his German Shepherd, Sarge, goes to the gym, plays golf, enjoys movies, comedy, thoroughbred breeding, public speaking and mentoring young Physiotherapists.
